Description
“I wanted to be a scientist”.
Picture as much cocoa, nutmeg and cinnamon trees combined with mango, banana, cashew and wax apple trees. Now, imagine those trees being right in your back yard extended as far as the eyes could see; stretching tall, reaching the blue skies. Well, this was my childhood lifestyle. Our play ground was literally an exotic jungle and off course, with a splash of seawater just 5 mins drive from our home, we didn’t miss out at all.
The tropical fragrance was imprinted in my soul from birth, and it was only natural for me to bear those fruits. My creative ability resonated with me from a very tender age. Building small cities with my siblings and cousins under the spice trees was our daily play.
As a youngster, the time came when I asked my self, “whats your life’s career”? At that time, it sure wasn’t Art! At that time in my life art wasn’t first priority. Art is what I did most in my spare time, I wanted to become a scientist!
